Of the 246 Tokens We Covered in the Week of 14 September 2026, 101 Were Untradeable Within Thirty Days

What We Covered

During the week of 14 September 2026, we covered 246 tokens, all of which were measured at a 30-day checkpoint. This analysis reveals significant trends in liquidity and tradeability.

What Happened

Out of the 246 tokens, 101 were classified as untradeable, indicating liquidity below the $5,000 threshold. This results in an untradeable rate of 41%. The median liquidity change across the tokens was a decline of 89.1%, reflecting a substantial decrease in available liquidity over the 30-day period.

By Risk Band

In terms of risk bands, four tokens were categorized as Low risk, with a 0% untradeable rate. The Moderate risk band covered 139 tokens, of which 60 (43%) were untradeable. The Elevated risk band included 102 tokens, with 41 (40%) untradeable. Finally, one token in the Severe risk band was covered, which was not untradeable. These findings illustrate a clear trend of increasing untradeability as risk levels rise.

The Steepest Declines

The tokens with the steepest declines in liquidity included HUMANITY, which dropped from $222,464.39 to $0.00, COOK from $208,738.09 to $0.00, and CATE from $52,299.74 to $0.00. Each of these tokens experienced a 100% decline in liquidity.

How This Is Measured

The checkpoint is conducted at a fixed age of 30 days and is not revised. Each token is counted once regardless of how many times it was covered.
